The Costa Blanca is known for it’s stunning white sand beaches, Blanca being Spanish for white. The Costa Blanca has over 200km or 120mi of coast along the Mediterranean sea. It lies in between the Costa Calida and the Costa del Azahar. Costa blanca is most known for the town of Benidorm, often referred to as the tourism capital of Spain and made widely popular amongst the British expats thanks to the comedy TV show “Benidorm”. There is a large expat community in the Costa Blanca composed of many nationalities, British making up the largest portion. The Costa Blanca has the purpley pink salt marshes, which help give the atmosphere a healthy boost and are visited frequently as you can float on the salty waters.
